Fun fact: When I was 16 years old, I worked for Moxie’s Bar & Grill as a host for over 2 years! I was, literally, the only male host the company had ever hired which felt quite flattering at the time lol During my employment there, I grew an obsession with their White Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream.  The warmth of the white and dark chocolate chips mixed in with the coldness of the ice cream is absolutely mind-blasting (that was a Russel Peters reference by the way). Please. Purdy please, just try it!

Yummmmy. The infamous White Chocolate Brownie.

The good news is, Moxie’s Bar & Grill, a favorite of West Coasters, has made its way to the 6ix! They have partnered up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to add an adult twist to the classic Summer thirst quencher, Lemonade. That’s right. Hard Lemonade. Sounds badass, doesn’t it?

Moxie’s Lemons.

So, I had the privilege to get a lil’ tipsy with this hard lemonade and while doing so, had the chance to check out their pop-up patio at the  GWN Sports Regatta, Dragon Boat Festival over the weekend at Marilyn Bell Park. I must say, stepping into a venue with 10 ladies to greet you and serve you [complimentary] hard lemonade felt pretty cool.  On top of their amazing staff selection, they did quite a spectacular job with respect to branding their pop-up with the whole lemonade thing… I mean, they had Moxie’s branded lemons EVERYWHERE. If you’re a big fan of lemons, you’d probably never leave this place.

Lemons everywhere. Lemons. Lemons. Everywhere.

This EPIC event also had comfortable couches, where you could take in the amazing view of the water or be a spectator to multiple oversized Jenga competitions!

Accepting my award for nothing… check out the huge Jenga stations!

They also had a ton of tables out to accommodate big groups. I loved the way they were able to replicate the outdoor Moxie’s experience as if you were sitting at one of their patios.

As you can probably tell, I had a blast at this event and in a way, it reminded me of my teen years where I use to think I was the coolest kid in town.  I’ll make sure to keep you guys posted on the location of their next pop-up!

Anyways, Moxies, I love and miss ya. Until next time.
